So many consultants, but not one who understands how to accomplish goals?

"A mailing list for Drupal consultants and Drupal service/hosting
providers."

What is this list for?

* Find and hire consultants.

* Find and hire developers.

* Ask how a certain use-case of an uncertain client could be achieved.

* Ask whether Drupal is the proper tool for a certain use-case at all.

* Discuss business models.

* Announce updates of modules/projects that are relevant for consultants.

* Find and contract hosting providers.

* Discuss internal business/project/contract flows and methods publicly.

* Find regional and/or task-specific business partners.

* Complain about short-comings of Drupal and suggest better alternatives.

* Announce, organize and push (consultant) community fundings for certain
projects or code/docs sprints that are usually relevant for client projects.

* Discuss and improve Drupal marketing with regard to the own business.

* Announce and discuss custom projects.

* Discuss improvements to drupal.org from a consultant's perspective.

* Discuss the state of Drupal's eco-system to find answers for
short-comings.

* Let others know about recently gained positive/negative experience with a
third party.

* Discuss why it hurts your business if you do not contribute back to
Drupal, and how we can get more people to contribute back.

* Announce what you or your company contributed back to Drupal recently.

Note: These are wild assumptions, which may or may not be valid or complete.

Tasks:

1) Create a multiple-choice poll based on above list. Ideally with write-in
support, e.g. using Advanced Poll module. Phrase a poll title to ask about
"your consulting interests" or similar.

2) Announce the poll on all mailing lists, also in all #drupal* IRC
channels.

3) Promote it again.

4) Discuss the results on this list.

5) Take the required steps to publish the scope of this mailing list
publicly, i.e. on drupal.org.

So who takes this on?
