simple, $3300 is too much.<br>
You would build a very good site with that much money!<br>
If the template is complex, company is reputed, and to be professional,
the price should be around $800.<br>

story, and a node template that takes more than ~5 hours is pretty
extensive and should probably be split into it's own theme. There's no
way a node template should take that long.

think (and he's less than $100). He's just busy...
