Hey friends,<div><br></div><div>I'm looking for advice on finding employment/grants/consulting work to create a tool for activists to manage their projects.</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://activismlabs.org">http://activismlabs.org</a></div>
<div><br></div><div>Basic idea: Project management tools to combine the Google docs/calendar/groups lifestyle of an activist into one coherent, simple to help them more effectively create change.</div><div><br></div><div>
I had a chance to begin this project as a Google Summer of Code student with Drupal this summer. I'm graduating before the end of the year and I'm seeking ways that I could find funding/grants/employment/food stamps that will allow me to keep working on Activism Labs in one form or another. I'm deeply passionate about seeing this tool exist.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Questions:</div><div><ul><li>Do you know of any drupal shops/grants/bags of money with $ signs on them/anything else that would allow me to pursue this vision?</li><li>Who else should I be asking these questions to?</li>
<li>Any general advice for finding funding for a project that you've already dreamed up?</li></ul></div><div>Any and all advice is welcome.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks all!</div><div><br></div><div>_____________________<br>
