[development] Can't suppress E_NOTICE message/

This is a VPS - so, I'm pretty sure that I have control over the php.ini
file. I had read in a thread that some folks felt that Drupal itself was
re-setting or overriding the php.ini files...but that doesn't make sense to
me.....

Thanks though - that's a good point to keep in mind if I can't beat it into
submission..worth a call to find out, at least!
