Can't you do something like <br><br>body#fluid .site_slogan (no I didn't look up the classes you use) { foo }<br>body#fixed .site_slogan { bar }<br><br>Do that on it so that when it's fluid, it stays as is, but when it's fixed, it gives the alternate balance I propose?
