I don't think we should panic with every CMS competition that sites

here and there are trying to promote.<br>

At the end of the day, it's not those competitions that will determine

the existence or the excellence of one CMS or another. <br>

Those who compete are those who need to prove they're qualified enough

(to even participate in a competition). I believe Drupal is now beyond

this under-dog state, where we need to gain points.<br>

We DO need to maintain our reputation of a stable, mature, very

scalable system, but we don't need to lose our forced on shouting it

all around.<br>

We might win or lose here and there - but if we just maintain the

current spirit and rhythm, we will always be compared with and competed

with. So let's focus on code, not on points, and we will always be the

number one CMS around.<br>

One of them is Amritsar (the one chosen for Drupal). Compared to the

Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is, the most sacred shrine of the Sikh

faith, and the Akal Takht (the highest political institution for

Sikh militants in the 1980s, and this is why Indira Ghandi was

assassinated by her two Sikh guards.

The other two cities are fairly obscure (outside of India at least). <br>

So, the competition is not fair to start with. The Drupal site has to

contend with many links out there on a fairly well known city with

recent events, while the other two have no such competition.

Also the choice of themes shows Drupal in a really lesser light than

the other two. Friends Electric is cool as a "how to" theme, but is not

good looking at all.<br>
