<div>Damian,</div>

<div>UML diagrams and RUP processes are usuallly found when you do Software Engineering (with capital S and E), usually created by a single-company (or consortium) to address the needs of a client - aka requirements (which is one of the first phases).</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Drupal is an open-source community effort that was slowly built up by the needs of the individual developers, and a that-seems-a-good-idea mentality.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>That I know of, there's no UML diagrams of Drupal, though you can try to reverse-engineer the PHP source code to derive some diagrams. Unfortunately, Drupal doesn't use the OO aspects of PHP, which will probably result in some very confusing diagrams.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>As to the RUP documentation, good luck in creating that post-facto. It's possible that the General Dynamics people that were prime contractors for the <a href="http://whitehouse.gov">whitehouse.gov</a> project developed something like that, but I doubt that it covers more than the costumisations required for that site.. You can always ask them for those docs... :)<br>
