documentation Digest, Vol 21,Issue 23)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but more and more it seems that page and
story do not really have a difference -- from the users point of view, that
is. At first (versions earlier than 4.7) I thought that only a page (in create
content > page) had a way to be linked quickly to a menu, but in 4.7, even
stories have this ability now.

I've often grappled with this conundrum,
especially when i'm trying to explain the difference of story and page to
non-technical users and clients.

Please help me understand :)
