[support] [drupal-support] Using a development IDE

Hi,

This is not a support question, but more a request for information, if anyone has any information for me.

I have just downloaded a PHP development IDE (PHPEdit 1.25), and trying to "Run" Drupal, and it gives all kinds of funny error messages, such as can not connect to database (if I use PHP-WIN.EXE as interpreter), and others related to a line with $server( ['HTTP...'] in bootstrap.inc when using PHP.EXE as interpreter. Using PHP-CGI as interpreter simply doens't even attempt to run normal scripts as well as Drupal... :-( Regular PHP scripts run fine, as long as I use PHP-WIN or PHP interpreter options, but Drupal doesn't run oin any option.

My question that hopefully someone can provide some insight into is:

1. Anyone using PHP Edit out there?
2. If so, what special settings did you have to do after install to make Drupal run on it?

Thanks in advance!

Kobus
