Tim,
Something else you can check is caching. Clear your database's cache
table and see if that solves anything?

Thanks for the reply. I checked the Access Control permissions and
node access is enabled for anonymous users so I don't think that's the
problem. I'm wondering if it's something to do with Aggregator 2
which I haven't yet re-installed.
