Go to the Administer/Themes menu and slect the "Configure" tab. Uncheck
the "Display Post Information" for the appropriate content type.

When I create a page, drupal includes the user and date. How do I
configure drupal not to do this? And, where in the handbook is this
documented? Thanks.
