Hello, Morten,

We are getting ready to release a module back that does exactly that -- 
it allows users to create and share links, and categorize them using 
taxonomy/freetagging -- the links are browsable by category and user --

I'd be glad to email you when we have it on drupal.org, or I could 
package it and send you a tarball.
