[support] server error 500

Hi,

I'm new with drupal. When i install i wasn't able to run it due
to this error:

Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to
complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there
was an error in a CGI script.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the
webmaster.
Error 500

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
