[support] help needed in configuring Blog or View module

You need to implement hook_form_alter() and alter the node_edit form -- if the 
node type is not what you want, you need to remove the upload form. This isn't 
the easiest thing in the world to accomplish, but I don't have the time right 
now to really dig into it to show you what you need to do.
