Sure. Add a region into your template.php file (make sure to list the
current regions if there isn't a list of regions already in template.php):
function mytemplate_regions(){
   return array(
        'left' => t('left sidebar'),
        'right' => t('right sidebar'),
        'content' => t('content'),
        'topnav' => t('topnav'),
        'footer' => t('footer'),
        'below_content' => t('below content')
   );
}

add it into your page.tpl.php below the content area
<?php if ($below_content): ?>
     <div id="belowContent">
     <?php print $below_content ?>
     </div>
     <?php endif; ?>

add css into style.css if necessary:
#belowContent{
   width: 200px;
   /*etc*/
}

Create your view as a block

in admin/blocks set that view to the region which will automatically
appear in the list now. Click configure to set it to only appear on
certain pages.
