[support] Blog API - Custom content types - Performancing - how?

Hello,

I recently upgraded a drupal site from 4.7.4 to 5, and I have a few
questions regarding the Blog API.

The site I'm working on, the person did the site in frontpage, and has
three blogs in Movabletype. For the blogs, I've created a custom content
type for each, set it up where when new content is created for that
type, it automatically gets a category assigned to it. That way, it'll
kind of work like a blog. I also setup that content type to have a blog
api.

This person is used to using Performancing to create blog entries, and I
noticed that it works with drupal. So, I went through the setup of it,
and tried setting it up to work with the new blog api I had setup. I put
everything in, and it works. Sort of. When I create a new entry, it just
goes into my user's blog.

Is there another thing I need to setup somewhere to get the specific
blog api's to work?
