[support] using search with jokers ?

Hi there again,
here's my second question :
search in drupal seems to be done only on "full" words.

e.g. : if I have the word "drupal" indexed into my site, the search on
"drupa" doesn't return anything.
Is it possible to search with "drupa%" or "drupa*" with a patch/module ?
