Thanks for the reply. But we our server is in Linux - Apache and PHP. Could we still try the CAS module?

Well I haven't done the moodle SSO module, but we use the CAS single sign-on to provide SSO between moodle and drupal. You need a CAS SSO server (java tomcat thing), in order to make this happen.
