[support] organic groups question

With OG is there a way to set posts to just link on the group page?  I 
am using OG  with brilliant gallery and image_cache to present photos to 
clients.  It is a nice quick workflow (ftp up the photos, create a page 
with [bg|galleryname], post to OG) but currently it displays the whole 
gallery on the group page.  Some sets are quite large and if there are 
several rounds the group page takes forever to load. The only solution 
I've thought of so far is to instead of posting the gallery page to OG 
post a page with a list of links to galleries.  However this not
only breaks the OG workflow it also adds an extra step to my workflow 
that shouldn't be necessary.  Ideally I would like to have the option to 
choose how to display the post on the group page (link, teaser, full) 
and if that's not possible then just display all posts as links (less 
ideal because I also post zip files and invoices to the group page, 
adding an extra unnecessary click to those for the client).  Are there 
any options that will give me this control?
