[support] cache tables?

I spoke with Earl Miles about it the other night, and I did misspeak.  The 
views cache will rebuild itself if it is empty; however, if it has only some 
records in it then it will not auto-rebuild except in certain situations.  
It's all or nothing, really.

So yes, just truncating all cache_* tables is safe to do. :-)
