Ivan, inside the 6.13 download is a document called UPGRADE.txt that
gives complete instructions. Please have a look and post back if you
need more help.

To answer your final question, you will first back up your database and
the contents of your Drupal directory. As part of the upgrade process,
you will then move your backed up files and sites directory back to the
web directory. So presuming you have put any contributed modules and
themes in their proper places to begin with (i.e., in the appropriate
subdirectories inside the sites directory)you will not lose anything. As
for page content, it's stored in the database so you will never lose
that by updating the web-directory documents.
