[support] Drupal - White Screen of death

I got a white screen of death when I removed some modules from my drupal 6.9
installation and I was not able to recover.  I had to re-install Drupal and
start all over again.

This happened to me also 6 month ago when I when ahead and removed some
modules
and I was using drupal64.

Am i the only person to get a white screen after removing  modules?
How do you fix the problem without having to re-install drupal?
