Leslie,

Regarding the "sticky" question, Trevor's answer presumes you are looking to
get rid of sticky behavior... which indeed is done by unchecking the "sticky
for lists" which is in the publishing options section of a form for adding
content.

I thought you wanted to keep the "sticky" behavior but change the styling of
it in theme. Do clarify.
