[support] Automatic thumbnail generation from attachments

I am interested in starting a site which would allow users to attach doc and pdf files, perhaps ppt too.

On each node, I would like a thumbnail generated of what the attached document looks like - to also be able to use on views, index listings, etc.

Is there a module that allows anything like that functionality?
