[support] Do a redirect (using drupal_goto) but maintain current URL in address bar?

Does anyone know how to do a redirect but still keeping the same URL?  
The use case is that a current url will return no results and so I want 
to redirect them to another page with some results returned, but want to 
still have it as an active address that can be typed into the address bar.
