*Thanks prothero & walt!
*I'm nearly positive I'll chose Ubercart. I'm now thinking about getting the
Pact Publishing book "*Drupal e-commerce with Ubercart 2.x*" as I've read
Ubercart 3.0 was nearly a straight port of 2.0. Also, I'm thinking of
getting an old (2006) lynda.com ecommerce Video because I think the first
few sections might be helpful:

 - The elements of e-commerce
 - SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate essentials
 - Acquiring and installing an SSL certificate
 - Choosing between a payment gateway and a processor
 - Merchant accounts

The rest of the video is about building your own shopping cart, so I'll
probably skip the other sections.. I'm just trying to get a grasp on what I
need to know about ecommerce in general, and Ubercart 3.0 in particular.

*Walt Daniels to support*
For D7 the options are Commerce or Ubercart, not eCommerce currently.
