[support] User management

The Subuser module doesn’t seem to do what I need. Individual users are the parents. I want a user of a role to have administration rights to any user of other roles. For instance, if I, as User1, create a user of role Superuser, that user would be able to create a Admin users or Client users. Admin users can only create (and administer) Client users, and Clients can’t administer anyone.

Basically, I want to break down the administer users permissions area. Any advice?

I’m using 6.20. I’ll check it out, thanks!

I need to have users be able to create other users, but I need there to be a hierarchy. So a superuser can create an admin or a user, admins can create only users.

Any suggestions for a module, or do I need to do something custom? Thanks in advance for any help.

Subuser module does this. Unfortunately this module is not available for D7 at the moment.
