[support] Module created tables in Views?

Can Views handle tables in the default database that are created and used by
modules?

I¹ve just tried to create a View to do just that, but nothing appears that¹s
not a custom field to be used by a node type.

Am I going to have to do this in the module?

Drupal 7 by the way.
