[support] Make fields required depending on role?

Hello all,

Is there a way to make CCK fields required per role? My admin users
shouldn't have to fill in required fields. There's a module
http://drupal.org/project/cck_required_by_role, but it doesn't seem to work
on content taxonomy fields.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
