Thanks for your reply, Lucas.
I did enable the open graph module. I can't find anywhere where meta tags are set in any of the sharing modules. I have two totally different websites I maintain and I have the same issue with both. I have no idea what I could have done that disabled the meta tags or whatever so that I just get a link when I share. Would it help if I post any screen shots?
