[support] Very frustrated with feeds

I knew that it wasn't ready which is why I pointed you to the issue.
Dave Reid seems to be stretched too thin and his priorities are elsewhere.  You could take the module and convert it posting a patch in the issue queue for others to use.  See
http://drupal.org/update/modules/6/7 for help with that.  If you can't/don't code then you'll need to influence someone with a gift or contract for hire to do it for you.
