[support] thumbnails problem

It's a regular views field. Just the image field and choose the preset 
so it gets displayed as a thumbnail, not the original image. Exclude the 
field from display so it won't show up in the actual slide content. Then 
choose this field in the slideshow settings unter Widgets.
