[support] cron access denied

Are you logged in as user 1 or have you tried running it as user 1?

Clear your caches
Make sure the site in NOT in maintenance mode

Try going to: /admin/reports/dblog
Clear the log message
Try to run cron again
Check for new log messages

If you do not find and logs after that, down load the error_log file from
your server
scroll down to the bottom and check there for any hints

In /sites/default/settings.php on line 240:
$update_free_access = FALSE;
change to
$update_free_access = TRUE; (Most likely have to change the file/folder
permissions)
Then try running cron
!important: change all back once done.
