<div>Hello all,</div> <div> I was looking at the documentation available on the drupal site and it's</div> <div>not as clear as to which pages one might want to turn to first to get comfortable</div> <div>with Drupal 5.x.y In the past there was a set of handbooks that took one from</div> <div>start to the point where one understands all the basics like themes, menus, blocks,</div> <div>and content and related to content access rights for certain groups. If I wanted to</div> <div>print something out from the documentation, what pages would be best to use for</div> <div>this overall information?</div> <div> It may be that my end users will need something very basic as well, very, very</div> <div>basic. The idea is to give users who don't know HTML, much less CSS which is </div> <div>nothing in comparrison to PHP... I seek a basic, end user, set of documentation
that</div> <div>would cover "using" the site, as it were, without being a web designer.</div> <div> Where might I turn to meet these two needs? or what pages would be able to</div> <div>cover these two user needs, or topic areas? I seek something of the form of "go here</div> <div>to such and such pages..." Please. </div> <div> </div> <div> I'd be curious as well about how others have used this software. For example, has</div> <div>drupal been used in web sites where the users are not in any way web designers? What</div> <div>role does an administrator have to play in getting a site to that stage where the end users</div> <div>can "use" the site, in the opinion of others on the list that have done this?</div> <div> Examples of how Drupal is used would be desireable...</div> <div>thanks in advance,</div>
