Thanks Sander. The .httaccess file already exists in /httpdocs. I tried assigning write access to this file (both group and other), but I still have the same issue - the enable will not stick. I'll have to contact support and see if .htaccess is supported. <br>

try creating your own .htaccess file in /htdocs and make sure it has<br>

sure it is writeable. If not, ask the host's support whether using<br>
.htaccess files is supported - it may not be and that's required for<br>
