You can also look at the media mover module. You can upload files to an ftp, and then set up Drupal to pull them from the ftp and set them up into cck fields.<br clear="all"><br>Brett Evanson<br><br><br>

i was wondering whether it is possible to setup a downloading area<br>

(the reason being is that they are too big)<br>

The scenario is that i have a folder on the server to which i copy the<br>
files to be downloaded. However, this folder is NOT accessible via the URL.<br>
So does anyone know of some sort of module (i don't think the drupal<br>
core does it) which parses a folder (which, again, resides outside the<br>
DocumentRoot)<br>
and is able to expose the files contained therein?<br>
