CSS would probably be your best bet. Define a separate class for your code block (something like code.terminal-block) and set the background to black, colour to green, and any other changes you'd like to make. If you're using a WYSIWYG module, you can define that class in settings to get it to appear in the formatting drop down box, as well.<br>

recommend another way of achieving this, perhaps editing the css<br>
stylesheet. I'm not sure if this is also relevant, but I am using the<br>
Mayo theme.<br>
