Well, these things are always complicated (but usually some simple "little" thing spoiling stuff...<div><br></div><div>Before making the copy of the database from <a href="http://ported.xxx.com">ported.xxx.com</a>, did you... (you know!) clear cache?</div>
<div><br></div><div>Try emptying the sessions table first, otherwise clear cache at ported and reimport the database, reset your browser and see.</div><div><br></div><div>The only other thing I am thinking about is the 127.0.0.1 ... in the settings file. If the prior suggestion does not work, try using a vanilla settngs.php ...</div>

<li>I modified the password from phpmyadmin by creating a new one and adding MD5 hash. I cannot log in.</li><li>I changed a user's rid to administrator (a role I gave all permissions to) and logged in with that username but I was unable to login to the administration menu (even thought it is one of the allowed permissions within the admin role I created).</li>
