Never mind! I isolated the problem as being a beta extension I had
installed. (FWIW, the cubbi.es firefox add-on for Diaspora) Once I
disabled that extension the submenus drop just fine in FF4.<br>

So. Is there either any way to make Superfish submenus work in
FF4 (by "work" I mean drop upon hover) OR is there a way to have
a parent item (i.e., in the top-level Main Menu) with no path
entered?
