This isn't really about pathauto, but the path module. Try disabling pathauto and then creating an alias with ? in it. It doesn't work :)<br><br>You may want to post a new question stating what you want to do in general, like <br>

The url shown in the alias list is fine and shows as above but when being rendered on nodes/teasers, i see %3F & %3D in the url :<br>

Any way to avoid/overcome this? I also have set the punctuation settings in pathauto for '?' & '=' to no action.<br>
