Yes... I can not find anything in the system log of the entire server...
not in the logs for the domain under Cpanel for that domain....<br><br>
I will continue trying to find out what it is.<br><br>

I install my modules/etc using drush, so I can't quite replicate your
problem without switching on services I don't want. <br><br>
Posting articles, changing them etc. require database updates, whereas
the installation of a module/theme requires the correct permissions in
the directories involved. <br><br>
