                        <br>
                        I'm new to Drupal. I installed Drupal 7.2 on
                        Windows a few weeks ago. Once I saw the security
                        alert for 7.2 and .3, I've been trying to
                        upgrade to 7.4. However, I must be missing
                        something basic. <br>
                        <br>
                        I've tried following the upgrading instructions
                        in the UPGRADE.txt file that came with the 7.4
                        release. I get to step 6, "Run update.php ...,"
                        but I'm not able to successfully complete the
                        update. I get to the "Review updates" page, but
                        it says "No pending updates," and there is no
                        button to continue to the "Run updates" step.
                        I've even tried setting "$update_free_access =
                        TRUE;" in the "settings.php" file, think that
                        this might help. <br>
                        <br>
                        Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? <br>
                        <br>
                        The instructions from the UPGRADE.txt file are
                        below. <br>

                        MINOR VERSION UPDATES <br>
                        --------------------- <br>
                        To update from one minor 7.x version of Drupal
                        to any later 7.x version, after <br>
                        following the instructions in the INTRODUCTION
                        section at the top of this file: <br>
                        <br>
                        1. Log in as a user with the permission
                        "Administer software updates". <br>
                        <br>
                        2. Go to Administration &gt; Configuration &gt;

                        &nbsp;&nbsp; Enable the "Put site into maintenance mode"
                        checkbox and save the <br>
                        &nbsp;&nbsp; configuration. <br>
                        <br>
                        3. Remove all old core files and directories,
                        except for the 'sites' directory <br>
                        &nbsp;&nbsp; and any custom files you added elsewhere. <br>
                        <br>
                        &nbsp;&nbsp; If you made modifications to files like
                        .htaccess or robots.txt, you will <br>
                        &nbsp;&nbsp; need to re-apply them from your backup, after

                        settings.php (this will be noted in <br>
                        &nbsp;&nbsp; the release announcement). If that's the
                        case, replace your old settings.php <br>

                        from the old settings.php to <br>
                        &nbsp;&nbsp; the new settings.php. <br>
                        <br>
                        4. Download the latest Drupal 7.x release from <a
