It looks like the first message might be a browser warning, which is correct, because you are (with a vanilla installation) sending a password unencrypted. If it indeed is a browser warning, than you'd get rid of the warning by changing your browser configuration. If you want to fix the issue, and send your password encrypted, you need to install the securelogin module. <br>
<br>The second message is also a common one: The automatic installation of a theme requires that your server runs a ftp server. <br>I consider that a security risk, so I prefer not to use the automatic theme/module installation through the interface, but install these using drush on the command line. <br>
