At last it works. I created another view to list reservations by dates, and<br>
I called this inside context filter to avoid selected nodes.<br>

Using Drupal 7. Mayo theme.<br>
On the <a href="http://eckankar.org.au" target="_blank">eckankar.org.au</a> front page I have a number of blocks in the<br>
centre of the page and in each sidebar, each with info and an image. As<br>
admin I can alter the content and position of each block.<br>
Been using Drupal for many years but the below has me puzzled.<br>
<br>
Is there any way to:<br>
-- give a specialised user with Role of MainEditor permissions to<br>
enter/change info in blocks on a front page?<br>
-- let MainEditor alter block positions with a Weight number?<br>
-- make articles stay in a predetermined order, not display as 'latest<br>
to top of page'?<br>
<br>
I also have empty blocks positioned via the Blocks List at the top of<br>
Content section and in the Highlighted. I can edit the block info as<br>
admin but not as Editor. If I put an article or page in the block it<br>
displays at the bottom of the front page. If I enter info it stays at<br>
the top. See the block with the orange and yellow flowers as an example.<br>
Perplexing!<br>

Maybe I have to rethink the whole theme and make it more like<br>
<a href="http://news.com.au" target="_blank">news.com.au</a> displaying block stuff in small blocks which alter position<br>
depending on latest entries and link to individual pages.... hmmmm food<br>
for thought!<br>
<br>
Does anyone have suggestions or hints on how would be a good way to<br>
handle this.<br>
