I'm against removing PostgreSQL support. Please ask the Polish translator if he wants to maintain that stuff, otherwise post a public announcement "Drupal PostgreSQL maintainer wanted!" on drupal.org, I'm sure someone will step forward... If not, I'll have to learn to use PostgreSQL and fix stuff myself ;-)
Someone I know may be interested in maintaining the PostgreSQL version. Should I contact him and ask if he is willing to take this on?
I talked with Adrian, he has mail problems: "If someone else wants to do it. I'm happy. Just as long as we don't drop postgresql support completely." Regards NK

I'm new to drupal, but have extensive experience with postgresql. I'm not sure if I would be the best person to be the new maintainer though. If people want, I could forward the request for a new postgresql maintainer to the postgresql-general and postgresql-php mailing lists on postgresql.org. Should I do this? George Essig

Sure, go ahead (IMHO). The more people who can test and debug PostgreSQL issues, the better.
