New subject: [development] faster pagination with SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS
We discussed dropping MySQL 3.x and this would be a good reason. We would need to move pager_query to database.*.inc. However implementation -- as pager_query now stands -- is a bit problematic at first glance because the number of total rows is used in calculating the offset... Regards NK Ps.
