Webchick: The blessing for Drupal 7
Dear list and webchick, After - what feels like - an enormous amount of time I'm back to drupal theming and development, and there is only one reason for it which is Webchick (Angela Byron). She gives the community the pulse it needed after the absense(s) of Dries and his lack of committing patches which are waiting much to long in the patch queue. (Although, no offense Dries!) Dries, this is you best decision since you started Drupal! Webchick, I feel deep respect for you, your way of working and your patience for helping out people. And I definatly look forward - after getting up to speed with drupal again - to let you review and apply the many usability patches I want to work at, together with perhaps some new or improved core theme(s). Webchick, thank you for bringing back my trust and belief in Drupal! You absolutely rock girl... Stefan Nagtegaal

Oh, wow. Thanks so much for your kind words, Stefan. :) I think you give me too much credit though. Dries has been committing his fair share of patches, and of course we wouldn't have /any/ patches to commit if awesome Drupal core developers weren't constantly hard at work. :D But that would be GREAT to have you back in the core queue again. I'd just love Drupal 7 to really step it up in terms of usability and design, and you are a wonderful person to drive this sort of effort forward. :) Welcome back! -Angie
Stefan, It is great to hear that you are joining this already awesome group of people at http://groups.drupal.org/usability again and make the horizon of Drupal 7 even more awesome. Gábor On Sun, Oct 12, 2008 at 10:52 AM, Stefan Nagtegaal <development@robuustdesign.nl> wrote:
