1. What is the most productive way to connect to a remote Microsoft server from an Intel-based Mac?
either take over the console (terminal session) and /or make shares (cifs/smb) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6573f9f1-8ae1-4da9-... (someone needs clean urls) http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/features/fileprint.html
2. Once connected, what is the best way to develop Drupal on a remote Microsoft server?
I would develop on your mac and deploy on the test windows server, in that case rsyncing, ftp-ing or using a samba share would be the way I think
