Re: [development] Rating module quality
Because it is an API, and looks like it will be THE API for voting, it will be maintained. So I would not worry about the monitor/track/audit part too much.
I, for one, would definately use an API like this, and I am sure there are many.
Let us please please please, not make the project.module mistake again: maintain a largish module with only custom-for-drupal.org-code, instead of having a module that is supported by a large community.
I agree with Bèr. Regards, Kobus

I agree with Bèr.
I disagree with Bèr. This is totally unlike the project module and not necessarily for drupal.org only. Plus, the fact that the module is maintained, doesn't mean I don't have to audit it before I upgrade it. None of his arguments hold, IMO. -- Dries Buytaert :: http://www.buytaert.net/

I think in this case, you are right Dries. In the future, once the module has stabilised more (ie: don't need to code anything to enable all kinds of different ratings) that might not be the case though. -- Adrian Rossouw Drupal developer and Bryght Guy http://drupal.org | http://bryght.com
