[drupal-devel] Problems with drupal.org
Hello, I just got the following error when trying to connect to drupal.org Fatal error: Got error 28 from table handler query: SELECT DISTINCT(p.perm) FROM role r INNER JOIN permission p ON p.rid = r.rid INNER JOIN users_roles ur ON ur.rid = r.rid WHERE ur.uid = 959 in /home/www/drupal.org/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 73 I just want to make sure that someone is looking at it, and what exactly the problem is. Gordon.

Your harddisk is too big if you haven't seen this error yet. ;)
DISTINCT(p.perm) FROM role r INNER JOIN permission p ON p.rid = r.rid INNER JOIN users_roles ur ON ur.rid = r.rid WHERE ur.uid = 959 in /home/www/drupal.org/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 73
I just want to make sure that someone is looking at it,
We can only hope.
and what exactly the problem is.
- To many users. - Not beefy anough hardware. - Not enough people with at least some access to the server. - ... Cheers, Gerhard

Or my databases are too small.
DISTINCT(p.perm) FROM role r INNER JOIN permission p ON p.rid = r.rid INNER JOIN users_roles ur ON ur.rid = r.rid WHERE ur.uid = 959 in /home/www/drupal.org/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 73

Thanks, Something like this is good to have a record in the archives just in case someone else gets this issue at a latter date. Gordon.
There is some discussion about it on #drupal at the moment. So at least killes, drumm, chx are aware of it. It does not seem like they can fix it right now, though. On 29/06/05, Gordon Heydon <gordon@heydon.com.au> wrote:

For me, it is only the front page. The rest of the site is still active and accessible, at least at my end. When I go there, I can see the "She Said Yes" thread. This could be the cause of increased server activity. I have never seen commenting like that before. -- Nathan On 29/06/2005, at 9:29 AM, Gordon Heydon wrote:

I can get to the rest of the site, too where I see a new logo: http://drupal.org/themes/bluebeach/logo-wedding.png Nathan Wheatley wrote:

Hi, I saw that, and the latest forum entry is "She said Yes" so I am guesing that Dries is getting married. This is wonderful news if this is the case, and I wish them all the best. Gordon. On Tue, 2005-06-28 at 19:52 -0400, David Norman wrote:

Of course, if drupal.org is experiencing overload, and we all respond by checking it out (as, admittedly, I just did), it won't help matters!

One of the HD's partitions ran out of space. I just fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience. More about this later. -- Dries Buytaert :: http://www.buytaert.net/
